The heat is on

My mind has been buzzing with ideas since I have been thinking about writing this post after a real long leap! I think lots ahs changed post my baby sister’s wedding, I kind of enjoy this solitude, sometime sitting easy with my parents chatting about good old childhood memories, sometimes just giving finishing touches to my assignments and how can I forget the exams which are lined up next month .

Thinking about exams I recollect a funny incident!

Anyways English comes naturally to me thanks to all the great teachers I had at school Mrs. Manjari Saran, Ms Ritu Deewan! Oh btw Maths teachers were funny as I can recollect their names and the names we use to call them lolzzzzz Mrs. Rashmi Gupta, Mrs. Usha Jain (Budhi), Mr. S D Sharma (Still my favourite maths teacher but I regret he calling me beta  bohooooo), Ganesh am not sure how many of you remember him but he was awfully bad at conducting classes. So in std 9th or may be 10th According to me I had English paper and I knew a day later I will have Mathematics. So I was like I should Study and finish at least couple of chapters of Maths, can study English in the morning. Makes sense! The whole night I was awake hitting my head against the painful mathematical sum, equation, etc.

Anyways got up in the morning looked at couple of important questions in English that teachers hint, during classes. Read through most of it happily! As soon as I reached school I guess Nightmare is the right word yeah may be my “worst nightmare” would be apt. I saw everyone in the corridor memorizing or solving mathematic Sum or formulae and I was like gazillion ways to run away from my school. I guess there were no paparazzi but the news spread faster than I had imagined my elder sister came rushing she is is like duffer you have your maths exam today and you are not prepared. Why don’t you go back home? I just asked her if she can call dad and tell him I am going to appear for this exam. I am really not bothered about failure and success.

I did appear for the exam and god’s grace managed to score a 40 on 100 just managed to pass.

Sometimes in life when we have to take a tough call most of us don’t dare to do it I think this incident taught me that I can take decisions and at the same time am ready to bear the repercussions of the same.
On a lighter note, have come a long way from then so this time I am cautiously checking on my date sheets , time and venue etc.
