The Gentlemen's Disaster

It’s sad but it’s over now … Yeah I am talking about the glorious victory of The New Age Indian Cricket in 2007 - with unknown faces brimming with the passion for the cricket- That’s it. 2 years later all the unknown faces had become God’s of cricket globally but all of them failed miserably under highly demanding conditions. To make matters worst, Mr. Cool Captain seeks lame excuses for not even coming close to the World T-20 Champions Title.



Like many I am disappointed and all I wonder is “Why is success so short lived?” I am sure other teams are practicing and improvising on their games but that doesn’t mean that as champions we would have no standards. Even in our own IPL how many of Indian Cricketers did well??? There is so much of exposure for anyone who plays cricket but really once these endorsements come in to pictures all cricketers think about is Moolah! And the game is long forgotten!

I am a Cricket lover, worship it like a religion. However the Indian teams performance was hopeless and way below my expectations!!! Though memories of the 2007 T-20 matches still lingers on – one of the most finest teams in terms of fielding, bowling and batting. All the players had a fair idea of what is expected out of them. This time the word ‘team’ was missing in the Indian cricket team.

Technology HOrror!!!! :( sad but true

Last evening around 9ish sister and I went to get gas filled in the car.I am going to narrate one the most horrifying use of technology I've ever seen! Since we had nothing much to do we decided to take a drive till Toll and without realising things any further we called on of our frenz and drove till Sarojini Nagar.

There was this Delhi Indica white in colour and the only peculiar thing I remember is not its number but FAAA...RRRRRRGH written on its wind screen. We both were stuck in jam and suddenly I saw some flimsy (X rated clip on the LCD screen in the Indica). I was not wearing my glasses but then asked my sister to confirm if I was imagining things or whether it's some raunchy dancing video. She was horrified with the sight. May be the guy driving the car saw it and folded the screen and within seconds later he went ahead with this act.

Though I am pretty Stern ...blunt and loud about things however I was not sure if I could do something, there were hordes of car honking at the Ashram Flyover(those in Delhi would know what am I talking about! All we did was to slow down and let other cars in between (may be I was scared or was not in a mood with the increasing rate of crime against women. Whatever it was .... It was more of a moment of weakness!

I am sure things are developed and designed with the aim of helping mankind!! But there is always a flip side to it which is dark and just about multiple people who'd want to manipulate technologies to fulfill your whims and fancies!!! This incident might be one of its own kind however but if nothing is don't to stop it - it's going to be jungle rule instead of DEMOCRACY!!!! I really don't feel safe in my own country ...my pride! There are still thoughts in my head and most importantly anger that we have to do something about it!!!

Weekend : Lazy Bum

The weekend has started with on going nagging of my parents ....Priya Why don't ya go for a walk! It's healthy and me stuffing my ears with cotton and sleeping till late! yeah I have been struggling on many aspects in my life currently. But my being over-weight is quite visible! LOL (always is)

We keep blaming stress and promoting unhealthy habits like smoking, drinking for busting stress or eating nah I guess hogging suits it better.Life is very uncertain: you need to introspect yourself every now then and be with positive people! I have been delaying it forever now but have been reading and getting some sense into my little brain!

Daughter in law's Revenge

THIS MUST BE COUNTED AS THE BEST MOTHER-IN-LAW JOKE!

A married couple was in a terrible accident where the man's face was severely burned.
The doctor told the husband that they couldn't graft any skin from his body
because he was too skinny. So the wife offered to donate some of her own
skin.

However, the only skin on her body that the doctor felt was suitable would
have to come from her buttocks. The husband and wife agreed that they would
tell no one about where the Skin came from, and they requested that the
doctor also honor their secret. After all, this was a very delicate matter.

After the surgery was completed, everyone was astounded at the man's new
face. He looked more handsome than he ever had before! All his friends and
relatives just went on and on about his youthful beauty!

One day, he was alone with his wife, and he was overcome with emotion at her
sacrifice. He said, 'Dear, I just want to thank you for everything you did for me. How can I possibly repay you?'
