Yeh Dilli hain merey yaar, bas ishq mohabbat pyar

It's good to be home! Delhi.... the ensemble of all my food bonanza... the city has lot more to offer since the last time as I am a Non vegetarian now...yeah the so called PETA supporter has surrendered to the goodness of non-veg. My favourite off course is nahari(a breakfast item), but that has to be prepared by Dhanak. She totally smashes it and its just so yummy. So my taste for Delhi Belly took me to the best place in the world "Karim's", for an exclusive non veg lunch, one we had to wait for a long time as the restaurant was buzzing even in the scorching summers of Delhi. The aroma of the place was mouth-watering, and the endorsements from the brands like BBC, Good Times, Discovery.... decorated the very entrance embarking the guarantee of the taste. Finally the lunch arrived, and I must say it was every penny spent. There are heaps of street food joints that are my favorite, most importantly the garlic bread of Domino's is what I truly missed as I just adore it.

Again not digressing from the goodness of Delhi the heartbeat of Delhi is METRO..... which connects the city like nobody's business. E Sreedharan I owe it to you big time, from those disgusting arguments with Auto guys. Even a beautiful day could be ruined; Metro is well connected, comfortable and pocket friendly all at same time. There is no one to harass you. On top of that the ladies boggie is rocking.... for me that's free flowing grape wine..... Someone’s breaking up, someone's deep in love, some are busy fighting over texts and some studious lot busy making projects, presentations, discussing competitive exams. It's too much of knowledge or my comprehension data exchange happening. I am someone who's very averse to eve's dropping. I never understood why people don't understand privacy in India and barge in. But cheers to the loudness of Delhi people want to be heard. I love it!!!!

Another comfort that I really enjoy in Delhi is the company of my sister (mind you she’s in less than 1.5 Km radius from my place) and my awesome friends. This socially active life and heart to heart conversations are what I really missed in my short stint abroad. A bunch of like-minded people, who are ready to take the world head on. They complete my life and are the rainbow of my life. They don’t change whether am going through worst or great phase of my life, they don’t expect anything and they always bring back the nostalgia. I know I can fall back anytime on them. Love you guys am sure you all know who you are!!!! Thanks for taking such good care of me.

There are heaps of other things I love about Delhi, which I'd mention some other time, right now is the time to sleep. Got work tomorrow. The rat race I HATE I HATE!!!! Have to get out of it someday.

Is it not Open Racisim????

When the whole world is rejoicing the arrival of the royal baby, congratulating the royal family. This definitely leaves a bitter taste in my mouth, I hope and pray this time like all other times we don't keep quiet, and nor should the other countries who've come under scanner like Nigeria, Ghana, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. I strongly urge the fellow countrymen to express their displeasure like Nigeria did, none of our politicians bothered to release a statement as the elections are coming up, our ministers are busy blowing shit onto one another. I don’t have very high expectations from them, put simply they are spineless and am sure part of the slavery heritage that has inhibited most of the Indians could be another reason for our politicians not to react to this.

The UK Immigration is talking about more than half a million applications that are filed from the respective nations by the way no one talks about the per application cost starts which starts from INR 7600 and can go upto a staggering INR 70050 for general category depending upon your duration of stay. They forgot to mention, what about the non refundable fee that they have earned from those half a million applications wherein the applicants were rejected? Why is UK trying to limit immigration only from these nations? For me it’s a case of clear racial discrimination, the rules are stringent everywhere but for all, not for selective nations.

I truly feel as a nation we should boycott immigration to UK, if they are so self sustaining let them get tourists/ visitor from only nations of their choice. I am sure all of us have little self respect in us (Mind you am not talking about EGO), with that little self respect if we don’t visit the Queen's land, there is nothing much we’d miss. Honestly I have never been to UK and after this I don’t intend to visit the country ever.
